The Robot
The students stand with both arms straight out in front at shoulder height. They simultaneously move one arm up a bit and the other down a bit, alternating movements until one arm is straight uo next to the head, and the other is straight down at the side. They stay at that range for a few repetitions, and then gradually reduce movement toward the small range until both hands are together again and the students are relaxed.

The Archer
The students will stand with both arms stretched out straight in front of them. Slowly, they move both arms toward the left side, sliding the top(right) arm along the left arm and across the chest (to the right shoulder) until they are in "archer position" (as if shooting bows and arrows). The head also should be turning to the left. Slowly they slide the right hand back along the left arm as both arms are brought back to center. They repeat the movement to the right side, doing this three times to each side.

"Be Ready, Be Write."
The students will sing this song and perform the movements with the teacher before practicing writing the letters of the week.
