in Second Grade Number Worlds

1. The students will work with numerals to 100 and relate number magnitude to distance traveled.

2. The students will continue to work with the number sequence, associate addition with counting on,and write equations to indicate progression on a number line.

Students will count on, compare and order numbers and solve problems. The students will begin to realize that the physical addition and subtraction of objects is equivalent to forward and backward movement along a number line.
