1. The students will practice counting and number-sequence skills and coordinate tens and ones to arrive at a one or two-digit number.
2. The students will practice number-sequence skills and add successive quantities to single and double-digit numbers.
Skills Focus: This week the students will practice activities that will help them to gain experience articulating number positions in terms of tens and ones. This will allow the students to build upon their knowledge of number neighborhoods by using formal terminology. The students will compare and order numbers, count and identify numbers to 100, skip count by 10's and add whole numbers.
