Kindergarten Number Worlds

1. The students will count to identify the number of objects in a set.

2. The students will predict how many more objects are in one set than in another set.

3. The students will compare partial and complete sets of objects.

4. The students will compare sets to identify which have more, less, or the same amount.

As students practice activities this week they will build on their intuitive understanding of relative magnitude and develop strategies to determine how many more objects one set has compared to another.
