The Archer
The students stand with both arms stretched out straight in front. Slowly they move both arms toward the left side, sliding the top (right) arm along the left arm and across the chest (to the right shoulder) until they are in "archer position." The head should also be turning to the left. Slowly they slide the right hand back along the left arm as both arms are brought back to center. They repeat the movement to the right side, doing this three times to each side.

Tick-Tock
The students are seated at the table. In a slow rhythm, they alternately bend the neck first to the right shoulder, then to the left, saying "Tick-tock, I'm a clock." They will repeat the movement 15 times.

"Be Ready, Be Write."
The students will sing this song and perform the movements with the teacher before practicing writing the letters of the week.
