Shoulder Marches
The students are seated. The teacher demonstrates raising both shoulders and pushing them down (together). Then the students do the movement. The students repeat the movement to a count of 20.

Back Scratches
The students place their left arm behind their left shoulder next to the neck. They reach down as far as they can, palm touching the back. At the same time, they move the right arm behind the back around the side (palm facing out-ward), and try to touch fingertips by stretching them toward each other. The students will repeat twice.

"Be Ready, Be Write."
The students will sing this song and perform the movements with the teacher before practicing writing the letters of the week.
